Moscow Film Society presents VHS MANIA II! We are back with another rendition of our double feature honoring VHS tapes! This time we are screening two iconic New York movies set in an apocalyptic/alternate universe. First in line is ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, an wholly entertaining jumble of thrilling action and oddball weirdness that could only come from the brain of John Carpenter. Next up is THE WARRIORS, a violently stylish piece of pulp filmmaking that features gangs dressed as baseball players, mimes, and disco dancers (just to name a few). Both films of course screening on original VHS tapes. Hosted by our very own Professor VHS and sponsored by Inland 360. Long Live Tape!
