Tiny Homes, Big Ideas: A Film Screening & Community Discussion
Saturday, April 4 at 12:45 PM
TINY HOMES, BIG IDEAS is a film screening of The Box Truck Film and a community discussion hosted by Macy Miller, a local tiny house dweller with 14 years of experience living sustainably in a self-built movable tiny home.
This community fundraiser supports a national advocacy effort to make movable tiny homes a legal, accessible housing option nationwide.
About the Film: Two builders convert a 17-foot moving truck into a 98-square foot tiny house and mobile reuse education center. Using almost nothing but reused, repurposed, and dumpster-dived materials, their “triumph over junk” showcases the endless benefits of the reuse lifestyle, which are implemented in very creative (and even comical) ways.
