Moscow Film Society presents THE KING OF COMEDY as part of their Make Me Famous series. Rupert is an aspiring stand-up comedian, who is willing to go the extra mile in his attempt to appear in the late night show hosted by his idol. Largely misunderstood upon its release, The King of Comedy today looks eerily prescient, and features a fine performance by Robert DeNiro as a strangely sympathetic psychopath.
