“It’s nearly impossible to find anyone who doesn’t love it. Or doesn’t feel, in some way, that it speaks to them.”
— Scott Tobias, The Dissolve
KPAC presents IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT as part of our Centennial Series, featuring one iconic film from each decade the Kenworthy has been operating. A rogue reporter trailing a runaway heiress for a big story joins her on a bus heading from Florida to New York and they end up stuck with each other when the bus leaves them behind at one of the stops along the way. Capturing its stars and director at their finest, It Happened One Night remains unsurpassed by the countless romantic comedies it has inspired. Concessions will be priced as if it were the 1930s, with a small popcorn and soda costing a dime each!
