Join the International Programs Office and the School of Global Studies for a free community screening of MINARI (2020) on Thursday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kenworthy Theater in downtown Moscow. This award-winning film tells the heartfelt story of a Korean American family pursuing their own version of the American Dream in rural Arkansas. Amidst the challenges of new life in the strange and rugged Ozarks, they discover the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home. Led by arresting performances from Steven Yeun and Yeri Han, Minari offers an intimate and heart-wrenching portrait of family and assimilation in 1980s America.
