Mason Oyler Big Band

The Mason Oyler Big Band is composed entirely of UI students and recent alumni. This is the premier concert of this ensemble, and they are excited to bring a selection of original compositions and arrangements written by the bandleader Mason Oyler over the past three years. Two of these compositions were performed at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in 2024 and 2025, and all the others have been featured at UI jazz concerts.
