Kino Short Film Festival

The Kino Short Film Festival is held every spring in Moscow, Idaho, at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre. This event showcases short films from filmmakers in the Northwest and students in the Broadcasting and Digital Media Production and Film and Television degree programs at the University of Idaho.

Each year students in the Advanced Video Production classes plan, write, direct, and produce their own original short films. Kino Fest serves as the students’ final class project and gives them a chance to share their work with a public audience. Student films cover myriad genres and often span across a range of talents and abilities. After all films have been screened, the filmmakers are introduced to the audience for questions, comments, feedback and praise. For more information visit: www.kinofilmfest.org
