Moscow Film Society: Inside Llewyn Davis

Wednesday, May 7 at 7 PM

“A tonal tightrope act by the Coens that is comedy, drama, musical, and something completely new at the same time. It’s a must-see in every way.”
— Brian Tallerico, HollywoodChicago.com
Moscow Film Society presents INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS as part of their Music Scenes series. The Coen Brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis follows a gifted but self-sabotaging folk singer (Oscar Isaac), struggling to survive on the fringes of the 1960s Greenwich Village scene. Llewyn’s bleak, circular journey, beautifully shot by Bruno Delbonnel and set to a T Bone Burnett-curated soundtrack, offers a wry, poignant look at a world where talent doesn’t guarantee success.
