Doors Open at 6:00 PM
Saving Face at 6:30 PM
Stage Mother at 8:15 PM

Inland Oasis kicks off Palouse Pride Weekend with two amazing films! Tickets are $10 and get you admission to both screenings.

SAVING FACE is the story Wil (Michelle Krusiec), a lesbian, who can’t come out to her widowed mother, Hwei-lan (Joan Chen), or her very traditional grandparents. She’s shocked, however, to find out she’s not the only one in her family with romantic secrets when she learns that her 48-year-old mother is pregnant. Unwilling to reveal who the father is, Hwei-lan is kicked out of her parents’ home and must move in with Wil, which puts a strain on Wil’s budding relationship with openly gay Vivian (Lynn Chen). The film is a charming tale of a love affair that overcomes cultural taboos.

STAGE MOTHER follows a conservative church choir director (Jacki Weaver) who inherits a drag club in San Francisco started by her deceased son, from whom she was estranged after he came out as gay. A culture clash dramedy that features a knock-out performance by Jacki Weaver that you do not want to miss.
