Admission is free, but donations are appreciated

Sierra Club presents “Reinventing Power: America’s Renewable Energy Boom” will be shown at the Kenworthy on Monday, September 23, at 7 pm. This documentary tells the story of clean energy from innovation to installation. We are very pleased to have the Vandal Clean Energy Club as one of the co-sponsors. This student group based at the University of Idaho educates, promotes, and implements clean energy and sustainable practices. VCEC is beginning its third year on campus. It has been awarded a grant from the Sustainability Center to refurbish an old biodiesel fuel tank. As a student organization they look forward to connecting more with the Moscow community through activities such as their involvement with other local groups off campus.

In addition to the UUCP Environmental Task Force and the Palouse Environmental Sustainability Coalition, the film is also co-sponsored by the Palouse Chapter of the Sierra Club. The local chapter joins with the national organization of 3.5 million members and supporters to defend everyone’s right to a fossil free and healthy world.
