2009-2010 Season: BABES in TOYLAND
Dec 4, 5, 6 and 11, 12, 13
Directed by Troy Sprenke
Babes in Toyland, the classic Victor Herbert musical tale restored in Ken Holamon’s fantastic script, will be our holiday production. An evildoer schemes to foreclose the mortgages in Mother Goose Village and threatens to spoil Christmas by interfering with toy production in Toyland. Victor Herbert's unforgettable tunes accompany Contrary Mary, Tom-Tom, and their friends, as they journey from Mother Goose Village to Toyland, seeking the Master Toymaker to save their home. They reach Toyland, despite the bumbling villainy of Barnaby's comic henchmen, just in time to help the Toymaker save Christmas around the world.
Directed by community theater veteran Troy Sprenke with Del Hungerford as Music Director, this show promises to inspire love, generosity, perseverance, joy and awe for the holiday season.
Performances December 4, 5, 6 and 11, 12, 13 at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in Moscow.
Join the holiday fun! See website for details and ticket information (coming soon): www.moscowcommunitytheatre.com/
Our Town

Directed by Sharon Trautwein
Our Townwill be our Spring show, a classic Thornton Wilder play directed by Sharon Trautwein. Changes due to “progress” are coming to Grovers Corners, affecting peoples’ lives in profound ways. Volunteer Opportunities
MCT depends on the active efforts of many volunteers.
There are vital jobs behind-the-scenes as well as on stage which
are necessary for quality community theater. Some volunteers help
with a single show, while others help keep us running throughout
the year. For a particular show, volunteers tend to work intensively
for several weeks; other jobs, such as publicity or grant writing,
take a few hours each month.
Ways to help with a show:
costumes, props, lights, sound, backstage crew, set building,
set painting, music, make-up, artwork, usher, posters & publicity.
Other ways to get involved:
direct a show, stage manage, teach a workshop,
grant write, graphic design (programs, posters), fund raise.
To volunteer, please e-mail info@moscowcommunitytheatre.com info@moscowcommunitytheatre.com mentioning the area(s) you’re interested in, or the upcoming shows that you’d like to help with. See MCT website for more details: www.moscowcommunitytheatre.com/
Thank You: Successful Work Party at KPAC in March 2009
Thanks to all the volunteers from MCT and KPAC who teamed up for a work party / clean up back stage at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center in March, and to Julie Ketchum for organizing people and tasks. The stage and backstage areas are much improved.
